About Us

Coach Carmen

Coach Carmen has over 20+ years coaching experience. From age 3-14 years she trained, competed and excelled in tumbling and trampoline - earning over 30 medals and trophies, including the prestigious British Columbia Champion (floor) in ’84. In addition, she was also a competitive swimmer for 10 years and has 14+ years formal dance training in jazz, ballet and tap. At the young age of 13 years Carmen began her coaching career, eventually leading the ADSS (B.C.) High School gymnastics team to earn many medals and trophies. In 2011 she took the plunge and opened Délano Athletica Junior Gymnastics in Ventura, CA where her program continues to grow and most importantly impact the lives of many budding young athletes.
